Civil and Environmental Engineer
Ph.D. Candidate - GeoSystems Engineering
University of California at Berkeley
Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe, CA (09/09/2023)
I am a Civil and Environmental Engineer and Ph.D. candidate in GeoSystems Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in data-driven, physics-based characterization and risk assessment of cascading hazards at regional scales.
My work bridges geotechnical engineering, earth science, risk engineering, and performance-based design.
It involves developing advanced data-driven computational frameworks that leverage high-performance computing, parallel computing, and machine learning to improve hazard modeling.
The overarching goal is to inform early warning systems, guide mitigation strategies, support policy decisions, and strengthen the resilience of infrastructure in a changing climate.
Thanks for visiting!
Integrated hydrological modeling (3D transient groundwater and overland flow) coupled with pseudo-3D slope stability analysis to assess different landslide triggering mechanisms.
